Private and Charter Schools require a Department of Health (DOH) Group Care and Food Sanitation inspection. Public Schools require a Food Sanitation Certificate (Permit) only. 

Submit the following for a group care inspection:

  1. School Plant Application
  2. Facility Floor Plan
  3. Site Plan
  4. Inspection Fee

All schools providing food service are required to have a DOH Food Sanitation Permit. This permit is an annual requirement.

All documentation and fees must be submitted to the Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County’s Office of Environmental Health.
