In observance of National Diabetes Awareness Month, recognized annually in November, DOH-Hillsborough is hosting a Diabetes Awareness Day to emphasize the importance of diabetes prevention and management. All are invited to receive free health screenings, including body mass index (BMI), prediabetes risk assessments, blood pressure, and hemoglobin A1c testing (while supplies last).

The event will also feature an educational presentation on diabetes, offering attendees practical information about prevention, early detection, and management. Attendees can also visit informational tables to learn more about DOH-Hillsborough services and connect with partner organizations. No reservation is required.
