DOH-Hillsborough Lifts Water Quality Health Advisory for Bahia Beach

Hillsborough County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County (DOH- Hillsborough) is lifting the advisory for high bacterial levels at the following location:
Bahia Beach
2513 W Shell Point Road
Ruskin, FL 33570
Tests completed on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, indicate that the water quality at Bahia Beach show an acceptable level of Enterococcus bacteria established by state guidelines. Test results are available at FloridaHealth.gov/HealthyBeaches.
