Lead Poison Prevention

Childhood lead poisoning can have long-term health consequences, including developmental delays and deficits, both intellectual and behavioral.  There is NO safe level of lead in the blood in children.


 

In-service education is available for healthcare providers and their staff on childhood lead testing and reporting guidelines. 

Lead testing for homes is available for a fee.
