Wellness Programs

Florida Department of Health - Hillsborough County

The Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County offers a wide range of services that focus on improving and maintaining the health of all individuals.  Our programs range from elementary school aged children to aging adults.  More detailed information about our programs can be found by clicking its specific link in the menu to the left.

Current programs include:

Lead Poisoning Prevention – all ages

GIFT LEAP – Children Ages 5-9

School Health – All school-aged children Kindergarten through 12th grade

Diabetes Prevention and Management – 18 years and older

Blood Pressure Education – 18 years and older

Breast and Cervical Early Detection Program – Women 50 – 64 years of age

Healthcare Provider Referral Form for Chronic Diseases Programs
