DUE TO RENOVATIONS, the TB CLINIC IS CLOSED on APRIL 27, 2022 AND MAY 11, 2022 in addition to the usual 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. Effective 10 January 2022…due to a critical clinic staffing shortage the Tuberculosis Center will be limiting latent TB services in order to focus on managment of active TB and community prevention efforts. We apologize for this inconvenience and remain optimistic in our recruitment processes to allow us to go back to normal operations by 1 April 2022.

Tuberculosis (TB) Center Referral Guidelines Patients with a positive skin test and abnormal chest X-ray, symptoms of disease, or risk factors for development of tuberculosis (TB) disease should be referred to the Hillsborough County Health Department Tuberculosis Center at 813-307-8047. Additionally, the Health Department is available for consultation in the management of latent tuberculosis infection and assesses individual risk to determine appropriateness for referral to the Department of Health or management within the medical community.
