By Kevin Watler, Public Information Officer

August 22, 2019

Tampa, Fla. – The health advisory that was issued for Bahia and Simmons Park beaches has been lifted. Follow-up testing was satisfactory, based on the marine water bacterial indicator results.

The initial sampling was performed August 7, and follow-up sampling was performed on August 14. The August 14 sampling revealed the health advisory should continue, therefore sampling took place again on August 21.
