STD Clinic

Florida Department of Health - Hillsborough County

  • Clinic hours are from 7:00 am-4:30 pm with last walk-in by 2:30 pm (M-F).
  • The STD clinic offers low cost (up to $30.00), confidential, same day service to the public. Medicare, Medicaid, and Hillsborough Health Care Plan are accepted.  Everyone is financially screened.
  • Due to sensitivity of the visit, we recommend that you make child care arrangements before coming.
  • Sexually Transmitted Diseases tests (HIV, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia) are offered to all patients. Herpes tests and/or treatment can be done if lesions are present. Vaccinations for HPV (before age 25) and Hepatitis are offered to clients.
  • Testing for hepatitis is offered to clients at higher risk.
  • The RAPID HIV test is done in our lab and you get the results at the end of your visit.  The other tests results are complete in one to two weeks and you can get them over the phone by calling the Test Results Line.
  • The clinic visit involves several steps: registration, interview, blood draw, exam if necessary, and results/medication.
  • Because of the comprehensive nature of this service the entire visit may take two or more hours.
  • No one will be turned away for inability to pay.
