Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) Clinic

Florida Department of Health - Hillsborough County

Our clinic offers confidential, low cost STD (sexually transmitted disease) testing for chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV.

An STD is an infection that is passed from person to person through sexual contact. Sexually transmitted diseases include chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, HPV (human papilloma virus), genital herpes, hepatitis B and C, and HIV. Most of these are curable infections. If you think you are experiencing infection with an STD, or have been in sexual contact with someone who does, you should get tested. We recommend getting tested every 6-8 months because often times, you can’t tell if you have an STD because these infections don’t always have symptoms.
